A merge took place between Compaq and HP, ACT became an HP Sales and Service Provider (SSP), which provides the Egyptian market with all IT solutions available from HP. ACT won the Best HP Service Provider Award in Egypt. ACT and HP's relationship kept developing year after year until 2008 witnesses the selection of ACT as HP's Preferred Gold Partner.
